2 weeks check up on Isabella

We had our 2 weeks post partum check up with Baby Isabella today. We saw the pediatrician on post and she checked on her weight and height. She also agrees with us to put Isabella on a schedule and was sort of impressed on how much we know and do. The pediatrician is very nice and was great with Isabella. They all said how big Isabella is, for her age. I still think she is tiny but I guess they are right when they say she is big for just being 2 weeks old. Don't know :)
Isabella was doing awesome. She was such a great baby. She didn’t fuss or cried ( except when they gave her a vitamin K shot and got some blood of her heel for the PKU test ) for the entire visit, eventhough she was just wearing a onesie for most of the time, wrapped in a cuddly blanket. DH was carrying her around from room to room since we had to visit immunization and the lab after we saw the pediatrician. The pediactrican said that she is very alert and Isabella was looking around the room the whole time. She had to skip her naptime since we were there for a longer time but never became cranky. On our way home it was already feeding time again, and as soon as we got home I fed her and she went to sleep right after I laid her down in her bed.
She weighs about 8.5 lbs now, therefore is heavier than she was at birth. She is suppose to gain at least her birth weight back after 2 weeks, which she already has.
